Google AdSense Support
Support for software problems is important, but also expensive. Problem solving, especially for individual software problems, is often difficult and labour intensive. You have to research, investigate and work out solutions.
AdSense takes a tiered approach to this: A lot of self-help, community support and a more limited, classic email support.
What kind of support options do you have?
Since Google's traditional support is very restrictive, it is worth looking at what other options you have.
The AdSense Help Center
You can find detailed information and instructions on all topics in the help section and through the excellent search function. There are also videos to help you with almost everything.
There are step-by-step instructions, background information, troubleshooting and personalised help. The prerequisite for help: You have to find and use the help you need.
The support wizard
The Support Assistant takes it a step further. It guides you through the world of AdSense support in three steps.
- Enter your problem as a keyword or question
- A selection of relevant help articles and videos will be suggested.
- If you need further support: the contact options. Mostly this is the community, relatively rarely and only if you are qualified by your revenue, email support.
The Community
The community is where publishers help each other. In the forum, you can ask questions and get answers from other publishers.
Google designates members who are particularly active in the forum and who have good answers as 'product experts'. However, they are not Google employees and work on a voluntary basis. You learn a lot about AdSense by dealing with AdSense topics on a regular basis, and helping other publishers is a very satisfying hobby for me.
The threads develop 'conversations', questions and answers and are a very good source of problem solving via the search function.
The Troubleshooter
Troubleshooters are guided wizards who can help you with a specific problem. By asking questions and receiving answers from you, they will (hopefully) guide you to a solution to your problem.

High-traffic sites
Because high-traffic sites have special requirements, AdSense offers a special contact form to get started. The only requirement is that you have more than 300,000 page impressions per month. AdSense experts will then contact you via email.

Other Google products that work with AdSense
If you use other products that also work with AdSense, the product communities are also a good place to start. Here are the links to the communities:
Support for YouTube
YouTube is a special case. If you are a YouTuber and want to monetise your videos, you also need an AdSense account. That's why some support issues straddle the line between these two Google products.
YouTube Community
In the English-speaking community, it will no longer be possible to submit your own contributions as of May 2023. It's an 'experiment' by Google to see how to make support better and more efficient.
My opinion on this: I hope the 'experiment' will be discontinued.
However, you can still read the older posts here, and the Youtube team also publishes news and important information about Youtube here.

Chat for Youtube partners
To monetise your videos, you have to meet some pretty highrequirements, but as an 'partner' you are also entitled to personal support and direct access to theYouTube Creator support team.
X (formerly Twitter)
Anothersupport channelis X (formerly Twitter). You can add the tag @TeamYouTube to your question and get the answer there. Still important: Do not post any personal information publicly.
